Lots of fun February shows on the horizon! The Big Band Returns Feb 8 for a special performance at Concord Conservatory of Music (where I teach). Playing more original music with a fantastic 6-piece group for the DreamBarn podcast and at the Lily Pad (Feb 17) and 3 shows with Greg Loughman’s awesome rock band, Lowman! After all that I’m heading to Toronto to play a show with some fantastic Canadian friends at the Emmet Ray (Feb 19).
I am pumped to announce the release of Pirate’s Booty: An Epic Multimedia Snack Adventure! Using a package of the popular snack Pirate’s Booty Aged White Cheddar Rice and Corn Puffs, circa 2009, as musical and artistic inspiration, the composition combines the stunning artwork of Heidi Aispuro and the photographic and media savvy of Stephanie Golas with 10 minutes of original music for voice, strings, and piano. Go right on over to the Video section of the site to set sail for this epic adventure yourself. The audio is available for purchase at CD Baby. It makes a great gift for all the pirates in your life and is available for less than the cost of grog and a treasure map (or a cup of coffee for the non-pirate crowd)!
